DevOps Engineer – AWS, Python, Java, Kafka – SC Cleared Permanent

A DevOps Engineer is required by a provider of cloud infrastructure solutions for secure and problematic data sets to the public and private sectors.

The DevOps Engineer will collaborate across small product teams to deliver migration projects to AWS. You will bring a background in building and deploying cloud infrastructure, with a good knowledge of handling large, complex databases and distributed systems.

This role requires Security Check clearance (SC) or eligibility to become SC cleared. Please ensure you are aware of your SC status in applying.

Requirements

• BSc Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in operating, building & deploying infrastructure on AWS
• Experience in migrating traditional data centres to AWS
• Experience building servers on Windows and Linux
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC – Ansible, Terraform etc.
• Experience with containerisation – Docker
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Skills in Python, Java, Kafka
