Haybrook IT was established in 1988 to service the growing demand for IT staff in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. A name synonymous with quality, Haybrook IT has become well respected and trusted by a wide variety of clients year after year. We are recruitment partners to many leading and successful companies, both large and small, and have attained either sole or preferred supplier status with many.
What we do
Haybrook IT is in the business of technical IT recruitment and we are able to recruit into the most complex of technical environments at any level, whether it be for permanent or contract staff. At any one time, we have access to 1000s of candidates from Web Developers and Programmers to Support Analysts and Systems Administrators. In fact, we cover all positions within the Software Development Life-cycle, together with every aspect of Support and Management from Helpdesk Analysts to Project & IT Managers.

Our philosophy is based upon building long term client relationships with a manageable portfolio of clients whom we know intimately. The cornerstone of our success is based on a deep understanding of not just our clients’ needs in terms of technical skills and team and company culture, but the way in which they work, so as to ensure that our two companies dovetail seamlessly throughout the recruitment process.
A proven methodology
In the current climate of skills shortages combined with improved levels of employee retention, a single method of sourcing candidates no longer produces results. Our composite advertising and search programmes ensures we always have a range of quality jobseekers on our books. This approach, together with our vast experience in IT recruitment, makes us confident in filling even the toughest of positions.
Each recruitment assignment is tailored to the specific needs of the client and will be fully project managed by one of our highly experienced consultants, with specialist knowledge of the type of job you are looking to fill. A typical assignment would probably consist of two or more of the following approaches:
In-house Database Search. Our primary database of known and trusted contract and permanent candidates has been built through recommendation, referral and personal contacts over the last 20 years. All candidates will have undergone an intensive 3 stage assessment process prior to being accepted onto our system. This is complemented by our secondary national database of over 500,000 IT professionals!
Third party database search. For emerging skill sets, or for positions requiring an unusual combination of skills, we have access to many of the UK’s leading databases, ensuring that our own high standards for service delivery are not compromised.
Extensive advertising at our expense until we fill your vacancy. Our composite advertising programme is free of charge to you, and includes daily advertising on many of the leading UK IT job boards. This is supplemented by print advertising where appropriate in selected newspapers and industry publications.
